Dr. Melisa is a southern California native who discovered a passion for competitive sports and healthcare while attending her alma mater Long Beach Polytechnic High School. As a dual professional, Dr. Melisa does not lack in experience. She has a background in treating sports injuries, traditional chiropractic, and extremity adjusting. She has had extensive training in various techniques that include but are not limited to: sports taping and rehabilitative techniques involving Kinesiotape, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) technique, GrastonⓇ technique, myofascial release technique (MRT), yoga for common conditions and coming soon: Dry-Needling.
